In line with these plans, we are currently seeking to hire an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to help drive sales in the Japanese market.

Our sales managers work with you directly to develop skills in lead generation, business contact development, networking, contract negotiations and information technology.

Job Responsibilities:
Following up new business opportunities and identifying sales opportunities.
Generation of own business opportunities by cold calling.
Working in close cooperation with the regional sales professionals to achieve goals and build strong sales pipeline
Acting as an ambassador for Rapid7 and talking to potential customers about our innovative market leading products.
Expected to make 75 calls a day.
Build strong working relationship with partners and decision markers.
Strong ability to actively listen and determine customer needs
Setup meetings for sales
Working daily with our CRM system (NetSuite)
High degree of confidence to interact with “C” level executives when required.
Job Qualifications:
2 -3 years of work experience, ideally in a similar role/industry
A strong work ethic
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills (English & Japanese)
A charismatic, dynamic, extroverted personality
Very motivated, goal-oriented, competitive and self-starter
Individually driven, but can work on a team as well
Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail and a “can do” attitude, balance multiple tasks.
Must want a career-oriented environment that is both fun and professional
